Run With The Celts 5K and Family Run
Join us for the fourth annual Sun Country's Run with the Celts 5K and Family 1K!
The 5K race will be on a certified race course that starts and ends on the festival grounds at Harriet Island. The Famil 1K, held around the Harriet Island grounds, is an enjoyable event that families can do together.
The race will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2009. The Family 1K Run/Walk starts at 9:00 am and the 5K Run/Walk starts at 9:30 am. Both the 5K and Family 1K start and end at Harriet Island. The Family 1K is $12 in advance or $15 on race day. The 5K Run/Walk is $20 in advance or $24 on race day. All participants receive a Sun Country's Run with the Celts t-shirt.

Join us for the Sun Country post race gathering in the Crossroads tent featuring music by Romantica! Enjoy snacks and a free pint from Finnegan's. Prizes will be awarded at 11 am for the top finishing female, male and kids. Dress up and show your Irish Pride! Prizes awarded for the best costumes.
Stick around and enjoy all that the Irish Fair of MN has to offer, great Irish fare, music, and many other Irish cultural activities at the free festival.
Best of all, the race is a fundraiser for The Legacy Fund of the Irish Fair of MN, which gives back to the Irish community and other new immigrant populations.
