Run With The Celts 5K and Family 1K Run
Join us for the fifth annual Sun Country's Run with the Celts 5K and Family 1K!
The 5K race will be on a certified race course that starts and ends on the festival grounds at Harriet Island. The Family 1K, held around the Harriet Island grounds, is an enjoyable event that families can do together.
Both races will be held on Saturday, August 14, 2010. The Family 1K Run/Walk starts at 9:00 a.m and the 5K Run/Walk starts at 9:30a.m. The Family 1K is $12 in advance or $15 on race day. The 5K Run/Walk is $20 in advance or $24 on race day. All participants receive a Sun Country's Run the the Celts t-shirt.

You can also register for the race by visiting any of the local Running Room stores (Grand Avenue in St Paul; Uptown, Minneapolis; Woodbury; Burnsville and Rochester).
Join us for the Sun Country's Post Race Gathering in the Crossroads tent for some snacks and a free pint from Finnegan's. Prizes will be awarded at 11 a.m. for the top finishing female, male and kids. Also, dress up and show your Irish pride! Prizes will be awarded for the best costumes.
Stick around to enjoy all that the Irish Fair of MN has to offer! Enjoy some great Irish fare, music and many other great Irish cultural activities at this free festival.
Best of all, the race is a fundraiser for The Legacy Fund of the Irish Fair of MN, which gives back to the Irish community and other new immigrant populations.
