Task Description for Irish Fair Volunteers
As August approaches, along comes the opportunity to come back to the Irish Fair, meet old friends, and make some new ones. As we continue to grow in the number of fairgoers, our need for wonderful volunteers like you, also grows. We are currently scheduling positions for all areas of the Fair. Please complete the registration form.

Cara Irish Pub (Main Stage) |
Beverage Service- pour/serve, general guest assistance, upkeep. |
Children's Area |
Mini golf (some heavy lifting required), craft and race assistance. |
Crossroads Pub Tent |
Beverage Service- pour/serve, general guest assistance, upkeep. |
Cultural Area |
Pavillion, Tea Room, Community Organization Information needs. |
Entertainers' Hospitality Tent |
Stock food & beverage supplies, serve guests, upkeep. |
Floaters |
Stock, supply runs, distribute programs, as-needed assistance in various areas. |
Food and Beverage Ticket Booths |
Sellers, some wristband/ID checking. |
Food Court- Beer Tent |
Beverage Service- pour/serve guests, general customer assistance, upkeep. |
General Supply Haulers |
Haul supplies from storage to Harriet Island. Have own trucks/ do heavy lifting. |
Green Room Hospitality Tent |
Support headliner groups at the Main Stage. |
ID Check/Wristbands |
Check alcohol age requirements and distribute wristbands. |
Information Booth |
Greet, direct, answer questions, sell raffle tickets. |
Jameson Tent |
Ticket takers. |
Native Dogs of Ireland |
Assist trainers as needed- water for dogs, equipment. |
Pub Tent |
Beverage Service- pour, general guest assistance. |
Pipes Hospitality Tent |
Stock, pour, general assistance for guests. |
Race- Run with the Celts |
Pre-race packet pick-up, registration, course monitors. |
Set-Up Crew |
Set up pipe and drape, tables/chairs, signage, banners. Some ladder climbing/heavy lifting. |
Sports Area |
Mark field, stand behind goal posts during games, crowd safety assistance. |
Tear Down Crew |
Stack chairs, load up mini golf, disassemble dance surfaces, retrieve banners, etc. |
Volunteer Check-In |
Welcome and sign in volunteers, documentation, distributions, direct, answer Qs |
Volunteer Hospitality Tent |
Support volunteers with food and beverages between or after shifts. |
Wayzata Hospitality VIP Tent |
Serve food and beverages to VIPs, sponsors, and paying guests. |
