Danny started down a slippery slope when he first picked up a guitar. Little did he know the influence those six strings would have on his life. While he mainly plays guitar, bass, and bodhran, he's been known to dabble in a variety of other string and percussion instruments. If it can be plucked, strummed, bowed or struck he will eagerly strive to master it.

Danny has contributed his playing, writing, and arranging skills to many recordings, including The Northerly Gales’ 2017 album “Together” and 2022 album "Road Back Home." In 2019, Danny released his first solo album, “Small Adventures.”

From pubs to clubs, from parks to theaters, Danny plays with numerous groups and individuals, most notably with Twin Cities-based Celtic/Americana band The Northerly Gales and Scottish Ceilidh band The Gunn Slingers, as well as on his own as a solo act.
