Volunteer Training

Thank you for signing up! We know you will have lots of questions. This year, general volunteer training will be provided via a short video and area-specific training provided when you arrive for your shift at Irish Fair.
 
In addition, we request that all volunteers and Area Managers attend in-person Alcohol Awareness Training, regardless of the area where you will be volunteering. There is a requirement for annual recertification from the State of Minnesota for us to continue providing alcohol at the Fair and it allows us a little flexibility in moving volunteers around.  Mark your calendar for ONE of the following in-person TRAINING sessions (no registration is required):

Volunteers for the following areas MUST attend this training as they will be handling alcohol and/or checking IDs:
  • Guinness Pub Tent
  • Whiskey Experience
  • Beverage East
  • Beverage West
  • ID check/wristband
  • Floater
  • VIP/hospitality
