Join us on the banks of the Mississippi River for a three-day celebration of Irish heritage with music, dance, family activities and good craic. Since 2001, beautiful Harriet Island Regional Park in downtown St. Paul has hosted the Irish Fair. The festival is recognized as one of the most family-friendly events in the Twin Cities, one of the most authentic Irish festivals nationwide and an amazingly great time by the nearly 100,000 people who attended last year's festival.
Come by, listen to the music, watch the dancers and even enjoy a pint or two! All the activities and events at the Fair are completely FREE

The Irish Fair of Minnesota is sponsoring one Young Adult (18 to 24 years) to travel to Ireland in June/ July of 2011 to take part in a leg of the Tall Ships Race, www.waterfordtallshipsrace.ie, as it sets sail from Waterford to Greenock in Scotland. This is a unique opportunity not only to visit Ireland but also to experience life on the ocean and take part in the 2011 Race as a Trainee crew member among other participants from all over the world. One of the most important aspects of The Tall Ships Races, the sail training program offers an incredible experience. Being part of the crew involves discipline and hard work, but lifelong friendships are built and the fun on-board makes for an unforgettable and life-changing experience.
